I have a small user base - maybe a couple hundred semi-regulars, a couple dozen or so that I actually know by name. I'm doing a remake of the private beach map, and all I'm really after is a discussion arena - a place where I can post status reports, and where peeps can come to discuss what I'm doing. That is why I'm considering phpbb. I expect that the website regulars will only be a couple dozen, so there won't be much traffic. I have to balance how much time I spend on this with how much usage it will actually get - OP4 is not exactly the latest and hottest game out there.
What is funny is that I have half again as many players in my L4D stats, and yet there is no community there at all that I'm aware of - I have no idea how many people come to my server on purpose, and how many just end up there because of Valve's server selection algorithms.
