Online based control panels can have so many more issues occur since they
require the website on the box to communicate with the application that runs
the actual game server. They also tend to be slow, in remote desktop
everything is instant.

Server Checker doesnt seem to like Windows 2008 R2 x64, Im pretty sure it
was designed for server 2003. The issues just started happening, nothing has
changed, there are no minidumps to indicate a crash, server box just
restarted too. This morning I woke up to find every single server offline
with server checker showing them as online, there were no instances of SRCDS
open. My recently updated reboot script uses the _restart command but I dont
see why server checker would care if it used quit or _restart.

Nevertheless, serverdoc seems lame to make you update the application so
often, even if there isnt an update and even if you donate.

Although a control panel that auto updates servers for me would make me put
the website issue behind me.

Also, I dont mind paying a little but a monthly subscription for a CP is
distasteful.
