It was the best free one I used, and the update is literally download a file, move it to the proper location and rename it, and run the updater every few months.

My recently updated reboot script uses the _restart command but I dont see why server checker would care if it used quit or _restart. Nevertheless, serverdoc seems lame to make you update the application so often, even if there isnt an update and even if you donate. Although a control panel that auto updates servers for me would make me put the website issue behind me. Also, I dont mind paying a little but a monthly subscription for a CP is distasteful.
