Dunno about the clientside since i yet have to try, but I agree it was very lame to remove the painterly option. A lot of players who didn't use their bought decal tools yet feels a little screwed over.
Thanks for the fixes though, we can now run SourceTV and Replay again which is important for anti-cheating reasons.
