One thing I appreciate about this mail list is the pure lightweighted-ness of 
it. Lately it gets a little overwhelming with conversation streams that could 
be condensed, but it's really simple to get important information most of the 
time, like when an update is coming down the pipe. Because it is a lightweight 
method of communication it is very portable for me, which is reduced if you 
were to use a forum. I tried to keep up with the forums for updates and 
changes, but I found that this was a quicker and more reliable fire hose to 
drink from.

Thanks for the work so far VALVe and other people outside VALVe supporting this 
list. It can be quite helpful to be made quickly aware of widespread/isolated 
issues relevant to these servers.
