Agreed but the amount queries when that box pops up for people makes it a problem not needed for Administrators.

However, in the same way that it picks up the details of the real server (players, slot count etc.), it shows up as passworded, and so if you try to connect via the UI, before the connect attempt it pops up a password prompt. Whatever you type in is ignored, since it isn't actually passworded - you can connect via the console without needing to specify a password.
