The ads unless ran abusively will not provide enough money to keep a server online. It may supplement the bill but won't pay it all. Something should be done to stop abusive ads.
I also think delisted servers should lose their steam group since it would ruin their ability to leverage past users to mitigate the after effect of their ban.
