Why do you want to explode your .pak files anyway?  If you are talking about
stock valve .pak files, there isn't worthwhile reason to do it and I would
recommend that you don't.  If you're making a mod and you are converting
from using .pak files to not using them, the best way to correct it is to
fix the bsp's and game code to reference files with the correct casing.
