Well, I heard that Metamod and AdminMod should work on it. But, that doesn't say much for other addons like bots and other admin addons from other groups. Also, does this have any additional impact on stat programs like psychostats and hlstats?
I know that both CS and TFC have new features added to the game. At the same time, there haven't been any logging changes to the standard. Does this mean that all the new features already fit to the current standard without needing any updates? If Metamod works, does this mean that all Metamod based addons work just as well? Another question, probably more for the hlcoders list, is on distribution. Is Steam finally ready for 3rd party distributions through it? Including MODs and addons? I don't know about how other groups function, but I know UA dev teams would rather not work in "panic" mode. They plan their schedules. After all, they're all admins and have RL too and work on these projects voluntarily on whatever free time they have available. I know in the past, Valve released a test version for us to test with... a week before release. I just haven't noticed this happening. Then again, maybe we needed to be on the Steam beta testing team?
