they should be. people using custom models can have an advantage... using red and green models for players, using models like the "bender" models that are big fat cartoon characters (which are larger and easier to see than normal player models). along with these models, people use custom sounds... like "silenced" guns... which in turn means they can hear over their own gunfire easier than other players, etc etc etc...
