I never said using custom models is cheating. Re-read what I said. I
said "some" people "may" use that tactic. And "some" people do.

duh, that was my point. You kindly didn't quote that part of my
original message. I am not sure what the whole point was to your reply.

As far as how it should be done, your idea or mine, I don't really care.
I wasn't trying to push that. And you should also note my last
statement. It's a very blurry line to draw w/ this subject unless you
are just going to cut it black and white. Which would be to run the
game in a pure/unpure mode. I don't know what the solution is and it
won't be easy. I was just giving a couple suggestions, and not "utter
generalization".

And if yer buddy wants to play w/ only one model for all the terrorists,
and one model for all the ct's I guess that's his prerogative, but IMO,
that's borderline. Having to deal w/ long distance shots and not being
able to immediately tell if it's your teammate that your looking at is
just part of the game. Everybody has to do it. And now and then,
people are going to have to take that extra second to make sure they are
not shooting a teammate. It's a little irritating to me to know some
people have removed certain obstacles from the game that other people
have (chose) to deal with. It's also my opinion that as long as all
sides are equal, and constrained by the same rules/physics in a game,
anything they can pull of is ok and legal. But adding models to give
you the edge and allowing you to (easily) see things that others may not
have the ability to, well personally I don't think that's right. If
it's to enhance the look, fine. But to make one team neon green, and
the other neon red, no. I don't think so.
