-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Its not the ram, as I've taken it all the way down to 1 stick, and tried all individual sticks, hlds still randomly locks up the entire machine. Without hlds running the box has been rock solid doing dns, email, and web for weeks now with zero problems. Ususally, with bad ram, a nice compile will cause a segfault. All my compiles run flawlessly.
It would be nice if we could get a hold of the hlds_l source code so we could compile it ourselves with our own optimizations, or if Valve would release a nice AMD and AMD MP version of the hlds_l code.
