Yes, heaven forbid we discuss anything other than cheaters on this list
(hlds_h4x0r list?). We clamor on about the cheaters and the cheating
and the horrible state of the world in which we live, but in the end,
what can we do? Can we hold a blade to Valve's throat and demand
action? When did Valve "get away with" anything? Are you so unaware
that you think maybe integrating VAC into every "officially supported"
mod is easy, that it wouldn't be a rather large undertaking to put out a
complete client release every time they come up with a major update for
VAC? Are you insinuating that Valve doesn't have the slightest
inclination to support their product--one that continues to sell,
utilizing a bed of beta testers of the magnitude that few outside
Redmond ever get the chance to even imagine?

Whether they just can't cut it, I don't know, but I certainly doubt it's
for lack of caring.
