I typically don't have much trouble getting CS updates when they
come out. My download software is particularly abusive, and
manages to break through to one or two mirrors after not too long
of a delay. However, I don't expect (Nor do I wish for) the
people on my server to obtain obtates like that. It's not much of
an orderly fashion. Once I get the beta client and server, I'll
be sharing it on Shareaza (The best P2P program out there) and
quickly FTPing it to 2 or 3 of the hihg-bandwidth members of my
server so that they can do the same. I was curious if anyone has
used P2P programs in the past to help ease the update process and
get things out there faster. I'll have a Shareaza link posted on
our files page and in our forums as soon as we have it up. This
is also how we've started to distribute map packs, hacker demos,
etc. I think everyone benfits when you download and share a file
of this much popularity.
