Shareaza still is reverse compatible with the G1 networks, which means it's connected to Kazaa, Limewire, Bearshare, and a crapload of others. I have G1 turned off, just because I enjoy the way G2 works, taking up less bandwidth, returning hits faster, and the various verification features. But yeah, the user base is at least as large as that of Kazaa and others.
