I would say I have about 300mb swap, is that enough? I only have 256 ram

Not that more memory would hurt, but I've never seen my servers gobble up 128MB+ Ram. 60MB-ish is a more common figure here, which would leave plenty to spare with 256MB divided by 2 servers.
