We have released a new version of the Steam binary. The next time you run it
on your machine it will auto-update itself (to version 2). If you encounter
any problems with this auto-update process please tell us. If you haven't
got Steam linux yet you can download the binary from the ftp server below
and run it to update itself.

Plus:
- Optimised tracelines, this should significantly improve performance
for mods using 9-way blending (i.e CStrike and DoD).
