Guys, please bear in mind that this almeighty, mythical "CPU" does not
exist. Instead, we have an insanely wide variety of both CPUs and their
supporting cast. There's a whole lot that goes into system performance,
and if you don't specify what kind of CPU you're dealing with, your
blanket statements make no sense.
