Well I am under the impression I can force HLDS to a non 64bit version if mods are required (although I believe they are being released soon / have been).
Most of the servers on my box are rcon only clan servers anyway so this wont be much of an issue, its also an excuse to keep the mods off as they seem to adversely effect the reg and CPU usage. This does consume time though. In FreeBSD I just set kern.hz="200" in /boot/loader.conf, and reboot :). Also, Richy: We were considering running Fedora 2, and 64bit, but turned away due to the fact AM/AMX/MetaMod/HLGuard/Statsme are not compiled for 64bit. Are you running no mods, did you compile them for 64bit yourself, or did you find a 64bit version that I could not? :) -Mike ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richy Fennell" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, May 27, 2004 3:02 PM Subject: RE: [hlds_linux] Re: Opteron / 64bit > Is it easy to change the HZ setting?
