I ran fedora Core 1 with Glibc 2.3 and had more pbs than with debian
woody & glibc 2.2. Try to downgrade ur glibc to 2.2.

Not, already I update kernel for the 2.6 but still it continued the
same problem, then I decided for 2.4 because i see that perhaps it
would go to give certain.  This could not be glibc outdated or some
library?
