I have used FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD. Mostly FreeBSD the last couple of years... Been running cs-servers on FreeBSD for aprox 5 years now. Also, in the most of the independent tests Ive seen, FreeBSD is faster than other BSD's (and Linuxes). Espesially when it comes to concurrent connections NetBSD drops like a bomb. You are maybe right that 2.0 is gonna be sweet and all that. But thats not the situation right now. Atm FreeBSD is the fastest BSD on x86. While you are waiting for 2.0 I am waiting for 5.3... I would guess that 5.3 will outperform 2.0... /Bjorn -- ...i did nothing, Michael, and it was everything i dreamed it could be! _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
