They don't gain money from that old game? Come on... 10 bucks to be payed by a cheater who was catched by VAC. There are enough outside I think. Players changing their steam IDs due to a VAC catch, only to be able to play ESL and so on... Valve gained a lot of money in selling CZ. More money they gained after they published that CS:S beta will only be able to CZ users... (and more bought CZ).
Valve still has a responsibility to the community. For me I can say, that CS:S is not my multiplayer future. Just in time I'm playing more and more bfv and et ;) We've currently changed our 3 public servers from VAC to CD (optional w/ mediator) [EMAIL PROTECTED] schrieb am 21.10.04 10:27:21: > > meh, the problem is that stupid vac disabler which makes VAC useless. > If that were eliminated it'd probably be a whole lot more useful - at > the moment enabling VAC on your servers is the same as not when it comes > to an "informed" cheater. > > They don't gain money out of keeping up anti-cheat protection on a seven > year old game though :/ > > - Bruce "Bahamut" Andrews > > > > Matt Judge wrote: > > > Daniel wrote: > > > >> > >> It isnt if its worked on moron... > >> > >> Daniel > > > > > > LOL, gotta love the mentally retarded trolls.
