The x86_64 platform seems to be an unwanted child: no srcds binaries, no
vac2. And even the i686 srcds binary seems to run smoother than the amd
one. At least it provides more frames in my case (dual opteron system;
perhaps another opteron user could try to verify this). Looking at
srcds_run I found that _all_ amd cpus use the same binary while the
opteron user at least get another echo output. Does the srcds_amd binary
actually use sse2 (the amd xp doesn't provide this instruction set while
the opteron does)?
