I dont know where you read that, but it is incorrect. AMD-DC
have a higher heat load than equlivalent clock AMD-SC.
Thankfully, its still lower than the Intel prescott single
core TDP (and DC as well) which to my mind makes them a very
easy choice as a server for almost any function.
