2.6 kernels are by default 1000

However, its not always directly related to low FPS

Play with your tickrate... And check stats to see what I'm on about

it depends on your kernel frequency,  def kernel frequency in 2.6.x is
1000hz but if you  set it back to 100hz, the source server run only @ 50fps.

you should look after it, i think
