But that doesn't work always. Yesterday i was trying to copy/paste a steamid
from a cheater. The problem was
that i couldn't find him in the status list. He was 'hidden' in the status
list (because i, like most others, use putty).
Eventually i got the steamid through other ways (e.g. rcon status through a
web console etc), but it's not they way
it should be.
And a sollution is to use a terminal client which supports unicode, but be
realistic, about 80% (or more)
of the admins use putty....
Maybe an option/cvar to allow/disallow unicode? So admins can descide what
they want to use?

It is a pain, however copy/paste works in the console. Takes a moment
to type status, highlite, copy/paste and be done with it.

status info, which in general makes it harder to ban cheaters, cause you
can't read their names.
