Hi, Now i have cleanly re-install my steam.... Same problem...
Downloads from my own Content-Server brings the client to crash (close)... Very confusing...I'm the only one with this problem.... The Content-Server runs Apache (same version as the old ones that's running without problem)... I have no idea now... But....hmmm....Since i have this problem i use IE7beta....Maybe it blocks the downloads (security reason) ? Checks your steam files for errors without re-installing. I def bookmarked that one, you never know! ----- Original Message ----- From: "LuZiFeR" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, February 04, 2006 6:56 PM Subject: AW: [hlds_linux] SV_DOWNLOAD_URL-Problem Hi... Thx...But reinstallation was never a option for me.... I will find the cause and eliminate it... :) At least some days of searching... :) Regards LuZi -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Im Auftrag von Mike Beane Gesendet: Samstag, 4. I thought it was our new downloadserver, however I then noticed it extended to DoD when I played that and it connect to a different download server. I forget what I was searching for, however Google brought me to that page and it cured my client-side issue. Good luck, Mike LuZiFeR wrote: > Hi, > > > Everytime my client try to download a object (map, sound etc.) my > client is closing.... > > I think it is a client-issue (because all other players can connect > without problem), but i'm not sure... _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
