-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I think some of the latest kernels (or dists) like fedora core have the kernel HZ dropped from 1000 down to 250 (which would give a solid 125fps). Not aware what people like Debian are doing atm, but might be worth people checking before updating there's, thats why was asking of the kernel had been updated recently.
