I have a question about the feedback from an "rcon stats" query. My
current server is a dual Opteron 248, 2GB RAM, 2 x 73GB SCSI, Debian
stable 32-bit, 2.6 kernel.

I gave a private server to a local team (12 slot private) just to do
some testing. I ran the server with -pingboost 3 and the sys_ticrate
at 1000.

When there are 10 players on the server, I watched through HLSW and
did a 'stats' command every 10 seconds or so. I got several "1000.0",
"500.0", and "333.3" fps readings back, but almost never anything
straying from that.

The server runs beautiful, as expected with stellar feedback from all parties.

Is that something normal? Is there a reason for the readings to come
back at 1/1, 1/2, and 1/3 the ticrate? Would this effect an HLDS
instance's performance in any way?

I really don't care because the server runs great and registers very
accurately... but as many GSP owners know, customers do not like to
see FPS numbers budge.
