Have you checked the read permissions for the HookMod dll and
directories?

Adminmod and the HPB bot plugins work famously, it just will not load
the HookMod plugin
linux addons/adminmod/dlls/admin_MM_i386.so
linux addons/HPB_bot/HPB_bot_i386.so
linux addons/HookMod/dlls/HookMod_i386.so
