i have same problems here too. I am using Gentoo Linux 2.6.23-rc1 Kernel with HiresTimer and Dynticks, patched the param.h to CONFIG_HZ 1500 and USER_HZ to 1500 too. Its running realy smooth but in the middle of the game I get always a 20 second lag and a Warning Connection TimeOut Error at the very upper left screen.
