I don't use -console
Or -game
Or -ip

Try removing those options.

Also, css is not cstrike. It is "Counter-Strike Source". Maybe that is
your problem?

} Hi everyone,
}
} I'm in the process of setting up a CS: Source server on Ubuntu 7.04. I've
} installed and configured the server to my specifications, however, every
} time the server starts, it gets to VAC activating and the server just
} seems
} to stop. I can wait 10-20 minutes and nothing else happens. I can't pick
} up
} the game on my LAN, so I'm quite sure the server hasn't started properly.
}
} I'm starting the server with this command: ./srcds_run -console -game
} cstrike -ip 10.18.38.20 -port 27015 +map de_dust +maxplayers 6
}
} This is the server output:
}
} Auto detecting CPU
} Using SSE2 Optimised binary.
} Auto-restarting the server on crash
}
} Console initialized.
} Game.dll loaded for "Counter-Strike: Source"
} maxplayers set to 32
} maxplayers set to 6
} Network: IP 10.18.38.20, mode MP, dedicated Yes, ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL
} Executing dedicated server config file
} Error: Material "sprites/bubble" : proxy "AnimatedTexture" not found!

} Adding master server 69.28.151.162:27011
} Connection to Steam servers successful.
} VAC secure mode is activated.
}
} But nothing else happens...
}
} And finally, my server.cfg can be found here:
} http://www.nickmoore.org.uk/server.cfg and my server (well, my laptops)
} configuration can be found here:
} http://www.nickmoore.org.uk/laptop_specs.html
}
} I'm not sure what the assertion errors mean, but I've tried disabling all
} of
} my cfgs and I still get the error, so I presume it's nothing to do with
} that. But they could be the cause of my problems - I don't know! :)
}
} If you need any more information, feel free to ask.
}
} Many thanks,
}
