Seems to be a kernel problem, possible the SATA drivers. We had the same problem with kernel 2.6.22 and we switched back to kernel 2.6.20, which rocks solid.

Hi, Running Debian on a 2.6.24.1 kernel, and clients are complaining of receiving the error "Map $MAP differs from server". This happens after a map change and all clients receive the error. It doesn't seem to be map specific. Removing the $MAP from the server and updating seems to fix the error, however this is far from satisfactory. Has anyone else had this problem? What is a possible fix? Sorry if this has been posted before but I didn't find anything in the archives.
