What chipset are you using? That seems a little strange considering I haven't
run into any problems with other hlds game types. I'll give it a try anyway.

What is the mechanism that hlds uses to check/hash maps? Is it possible to be
implemented differently from kernel to kernel?

Regards,
Sam
Seems to be a kernel problem, possible the SATA drivers. We had the same
problem with kernel 2.6.22 and we switched back to kernel 2.6.20, which
rocks solid.

>/ Hi,
/>/
/>/ Running Debian on a 2.6.24.1 kernel, and clients are complaining of
/>/ receiving the error "Map $MAP differs from server". This happens after a
/>/ map change and all clients receive the error. It doesn't seem to be map
/>/ specific. Removing the $MAP from the server and updating seems to fix
/>/ the error, however this is far from satisfactory. Has anyone else had
/>/ this problem? What is a possible fix?
/>/
/>/ Sorry if this has been posted before but I didn't find anything in the
/>/ archives.
/>/
