Take it easy :) I didn't say they "hacked" it. Since CPU values have been known to be reported incorrectly, there's no reason why fps values would *always* be reliable and accurate.
In response to OP, try running 1000hz, not tickless kernel. Kveri has suggested doing so in the past. I think it's worth a shot. Please let us know of your findings.
