As far as I am concerned, that is nonsense, and a configuration issue. You can set up TS to use exactly the same codecs, with exactly the same sound quality as Vent. The difference is that with TS you have more options, and if bandwidth is an issue, you can configure it to use lower quality codecs that use less bandwidth. As far as I am concerned the whole idea that Vent is superior to TS is an e-myth. Gamers believe it is true because they heard someone else say it was true...
