Hi,

I tried 4 different 2.6.26.8 kernels
1. without RT patch, without changing HZ to 2100
2. without RT patch, with changing HZ to 2100
3. with RT patch, without changing HZ to 2100
4. with RT patch, with changing HZ to 2100

1. I couldn't get stable 1000, but I was able to get near stable 1000,
around 960-980 pretty stable.

2. This was the best one for me, 100% stable 1000fps with -pingboost 3
and sys_ticrate 2000. sys_ticrate 2100 caused accelerated gameplay, but
2000 was nonaccelerated, but 1000fps stable.

3. This was almost the same as first, but little more unstable.

4. This was almost the same as second, stable 1000fps with some
fluctuations (sometimes it dropped to 980, every ten rcon stats, one was
under 1000fps).

Setup: 2x Quad-Core Xeon E5335 (2GHz), 8GB 667MHz RAM.

I didn't use that chrt script, that gives realtime priority to processes
(because I didn't have RT patched kernel), nor I didn't use idler script.

Every hlds process showed using 0% of core almost all of the time
(sometimes it jumped to 25% or 33% of one core).

PS: I used TSC as clocksource
grub: *clock source = "TSC"* to the end of kernel line
lilo: *append="clocksource=TSC"* after image=

I'll test servers without -pingboost 3, I'll keep you posted.
