Upgrading libc to 2.8 or 2.9 did not resolve the issue.

Output of dmesg contains;

Located and removed steamclient_linux.so from ~/l4d/bin

Restarted with -debug -autoupdate, no change in success

Now errors with;

./srcds_run: line 368:  2923 Trace/breakpoint trap   (core dumped) $HL_CMD
cat: hlds.2880.pid: No such file or directory
email debug.log to [email protected]

I notice that after the map has attempted to change, srcds is no longer 
running in VAC secure mode.

Added sv_pure 1 and sv_consistency 1 to the .cfg

Still no change... and again, no longer running in secure mode...

As you can see by looking at the Commentary line, it is loading the next 
map. But something in the run routine is failing... simple bug to fix right?

Can anybody from Valve or similar shed some light on this?
