CAsynchIOManager appears to be something new with version 36 of Steam 
HLDS Update Tool for Linux.

In fact, error messages appear to be a lot more descriptive in general 
with this version.

Also, I have the same thing where it finishes after 12.42%.  Note that 
this percent is how far it is through the update prior to this file, so 
presumably server.so is the last 87.68% of the update.
