This is probably a nooby question, but I was wondering, why does SRCDS download all the files? I don't see any reason why a server program needs to download a ton of .wav, material files, etc. It just seems "wasteful" to have all these files downloaded onto a server. It probably doesn't have much affect on preformance, but it makes downloading for the first time take even longer, as well as wasting precious harddrive space.
