Killing Floor & Brink developers send out emails on this mailing list giving heads up when they are releasing an update. So it clears up nothing. Also killing floor uses the ut2004 engine if I remember correctly.

Well, HLDS is misleading, it's really SRCDS Linux now which is the product that made HLDS obsolete. The Half-Life Dedicated Server was replaced by the Source Dedicated Server and NO! It does NOT have anything to do with MW3 since it does not utilize the Source engine, as ALL products here are -- you are probably referring to products such as "The Killing Floor" and so on, which actually uses the Source engine, hence, SRCDS and the right mailinglist.
