Pretty sure the list is intended for Linux servers available through hldsupdatetool.

Killing floor is using Unreal engine iirc, and I'm pretty sure Brink uses ID Tech. They're not Source games. MW3 server files are most likely downloaded through HLDS, so it is relevant in a way to the HLDS mailing list. It doesn't have any place in HLDS_linux but anyway the question is answered, it's too late for such concerns.

Well, HLDS is misleading, it's really SRCDS Linux now which is the product that made HLDS obsolete. The Half-Life Dedicated Server was replaced by the
Source Dedicated Server and NO! It does NOT have anything to do with MW3
since it does not utilize the Source engine, as ALL products here are --
you are probably referring to products such as "The Killing Floor" and so
on, which actually uses the Source engine, hence, SRCDS and the right
mailinglist.

Hope that clears it up.

I believe this list is called HLDS Linux, and as far as I know there is no
Linux MW3 server unless they recently released one.

As I know MW3 servers are available through HLDS so I believe this is
relevant.

I've seen other questions/annoucements about games that are not made by
Valve but they are using Steam/Source Engine/HLDS etc.

I'm sorry but you are wrong. Having a game using Steam feature
(Steamworks) or to be sold on Steam does not make it a Valve game.

Folks on this list run servers for games that are created by Valve so you
should try some Activision list or forums if they have any.

MW3 is now using SteamWorks, so more or less a Valve game ;)

Well, at least they use the Steam Platform.

But then, I also don't think there is a dedicated MW3 list here on
Valve.
You could also try "Call of Duty server admin list."<[email protected]>
Might need to register first.

Why are you asking this on a list that focuses on Valve games? Ask

google, it will give you much better, immediate answers.
