I had a look at the forum that you sent me John but unfortunately when I try to type anything in the console it just comes up with Unrecognized Command. I also thought, GENIUS! when you mentioned using the steam browser, I always forget about that, but that didn't work for me either as I just got a 401 error :( Anyone else have any ideas on why the console won't accept any commands? What i do is just use shift/tab and use the browser in the Steam overlay. That way if I am in game and need to do any adminning at any time a quick shift tab gives me instant access to the full power of the web admin tool.
