I didn't see the notification either. I had to manually shut down and
restart one of my servers (with -autoupdate, of course) for it to update. A
map change did not automatically update the server to the latest version.
Although, after I updated one of my servers using the method described
above, the server that had players in it changed map (on the same tf2
installation). Even after it changed maps with the updated files in place
from the other server, it still states that particular server is on an
older version of the game. Very interesting.....
