It's a consequence of the new heartbeating through Steam instead of direct UDP to the GMS, combined with the fact that the GMS was hotfixed while your server was up. The GMS probably sent you the out-of-date message, but it didn't have the proper anti-IP-spoof challenge, so your server rejected it. I'll get this fixed. But when you want to check the server version with a simple command 'status' will help you out.
