Thank god somebody speaks sense here. P2P downloading is a valid and fast option for Steam, as its userbase is absolutely HUGE. This would save Valve hundreds of thousands of dollars in bandwidth, and the content servers could be demoted to seed boxes/P2P superseeds. In fact in the Steam API code, k_EAccountTypeP2PSuperSeeder is an unused Steam ID account type.
