Not if you use sv_use_steam_voice 0 which resolves the 1-2 second delay in
audio when you first start talking. I was just offering my $0.02 since the
OP stated that it was mic spam related. Most mic spam that I have witnessed
is with HLDJ which "sort of" requires the steam voice to be disabled. By
removing the ability to play recording from files, this eliminates most mic
spam.
