Every now and then i even have a big dump in my screen (when restart/quit) and the instance hangs (so it wont even restart) doesn't happen that much, but enough to be noticed. Usually they start consuming 100% cpu then, i have not seen any "proper" watchdogs for this to restart a screen session that died though.
