Mapchange isn't the only occurence when clients timed out aka their game
crashed moments before that timing out happened. I see people dropping
off, about 1-5 bunches in-game daily. Something in-game causes them to
crash. For me, i get a crash about 1 time per hour or on map change and
i get message "failed to allocate lump blabla" or just plain HL2.exe crash.
I also think Valve isn't aware of the issues because HL2.exe crash
doesn't create a dump for them anymore. Latest mdmp file i have on my pc
is from 16th of July and crashes started about month ago. What they do
not know of, they cannot fix. So i suggest people at Valve go play the
game (not mvm!) but the other gamemodes. Try out 2 hours in a row and
see how much it crashes.

Not so much as it is during heat of battle moments. I'm concerned about
getting a fix but I'm even more concerned with getting this Halloween update
pushed a few weeks prior to Halloween and before Thursday of that week so we
can have time to report bugs and get them resolved before weekend play. Meet
the Pyro was delayed till late that night and if its going to be like that
then wait till the following Monday.

I've been hearing complaints about clients crashing on map change and on
disconnect as well.
Have you experienced any of that?

I'm not sure if this is something injected server side or yet again
the bug for clients causing crashes in the middle of game play - seems
like heat of battle which is effecting server traffic that is barely
hanging in there.
The introduction of a few new games like Torchlight and Boarderlands
have caused TF2 traffic to die and yet we have clients crashing. Can
this please be addressed very soon - I'm not sure how much longer TF2
can hang into the top 3 of stats.

We have Halloween coming up - last two years the event was released on
the 27th which would pit it to come out this year on the 26th which is
not good
- please do not release this thing on a Thursday or Friday and please
release it a few weeks before Halloween so it gives those of us that
wish to host a server running this event/map time to really run it and
YOU (Valve) time to address bugs prior to a weekend.
