Hello Mappers, I have been away from this list for over a year, so I hope I am not missing the answer to this question but I think I have a unique case. I am working on a level that works like a Sonic level. My idea is to have the player ride a platform that acts like a func_tracktrain and rides path_tracks. The problem I am having is that the platform cannot angle itself without crushing the player, and if I disable damage then the platform will not angle itself. I would love to have the player be able to ride it through a loop or a corkscrew type obstacle, but cannot find a way to get the player to be flipped upside down during this process. Do any of you have an idea to get this concept to work? I would love to have the player riding a rail through the entire level like some Sonic the Hedgehog games. Another solution I have been thinking of is animating the camera to go through the level and then 'warping' the player to the end of the track when it is done, but I am not sure if that is possible or whether or not it would be any fun. Thanks in advance!
